Provenances : Date checked: 2013-12-26T00:00:00  ·  (f. 1r) «secundo folio 'et merito'» matches the entry on fol. 2ra of the manuscript.  ·  Abbaye Saint-Bertin (Saint-Omer, Pas-de-Calais)Abbaye Saint-Bertin (Saint-Omer, Pas-de-Calais) « [1301-1400] (f. 1r) De libraria sancti »  ·  Acheté à Gand en 1573 par Jacobus Susius, puis Hugo Grotius, puis reine Christine, puis Vossius  ·  (f. 1r) «Lucretius de phisica rerum origine vel effectu»  ·  (f. 2ra) «Liber…» But the facsimile is not sufficiently detailed to read the text.  ·  There was a copy of De rerum natura at Corbie in the 10th/11th century [Delisle, Cabinet des manuscrits, vol. 2, pp. 440 no. 336]. Possibly this is the copy that was transferred to Saint-Bertin, where it was located in the 14th c and remained until sometime before 1559, when it was brought to Paris and used by Pierre Galland and collated by Adrien Turnèbe, whose notes were used by Denys Lambin in the preparation of his edition of 1563-64. Subsequently it was owned by Isaac Voss, then passed to the Leiden University Library in 1689.  ·
